The Green Co-nversation #20 | June 2026

Edition 20 of The Green Co-nversation with Leanne

Welcome to Edition #20 of The Green Co-nversation. 😊

For those of you who do not know me yet, I thought this would be the perfect time to introduce myself properly. My name’s Leanne, and I’m Head of Operations here at The Green Co.

Eris and I are responsible for packing every single order that leaves our warehouse, and over the years, I must have packed more parcels than I could ever count! My role also covers stock control, deliveries, keeping the warehouse running smoothly, and helping with customer enquiries. So if you ever need a hand, it will most likely be me or Eris on the other side of the screen. šŸ˜€

As a team, we see every email, review, comment, share, like and message that comes through, and it genuinely means so much to us. Every bit of support helps us continue to grow, improve and bring you products that make everyday routines a little bit better.Ā Thank you for being here, reading along, and being part of our journey.

Now, let’s get into this month’s newsletter!

A Conversation With Circular&Co.

The Green Co-nversation with Circular&Co.

For anyone discovering Circular&Co. for the first time, can you tell us a little about the brand and the reusable products you create?

Disheartened by the industry's failure to utilise waste, our CEO, Dan Dicker, founded Circular&Co. to prove things could be done differently. Long before "circularity" was a buzzword, our plan was simple: create premium, long-lasting products from waste that can be fully recycled again and again. Whether it’s a local independent cafĆ© or a massive global brand, we work with businesses of all sizes to help them make sustainable swaps in their day-to-day setup. Every reusable product we make is designed to eliminate single-use. Our sustainable travel cups and eco-friendly water bottles are crafted from recycled materials like fabric waste, bubblegum, and traceable marine plastic. They are built for real life, made to last, and 100% leakproof.

One of the most fascinating things about Circular&Co. is the materials you use. Can you tell us more about this?

We love hunting for hidden value in things others throw away. We work with partners across Europe to take used products and convert them into the high-quality materials we use for the outer sleeves of our reusables. For example, just one of our cups is made from an average of six single-use paper cups. We also transform old trainers, discarded clothing, coffee waste, bubblegum, and traceable marine plastic into beautiful, functional reusable cups.

Circular design sits at the heart of everything you do. For anyone new to the idea, what does circular design actually mean, and why is it so important for the future?

In simple terms, a circular solution to waste means no more destroying, digging up, or cutting down. Everything we need is already here, just waiting to be reused, reborn, and re-loved. True Circular Design follows three core principles:

1. Made from Recycled Content: Designing products using waste materials as the primary ingredient.

2. Built to Last: Prioritising exceptional durability and repairability so the product stays in use for years.

3. 100% Recyclable: Ensuring the product can be easily recycled at the end of its life within our real-world, everyday recycling infrastructure. By following these rules, circular products dramatically reduce carbon emissions, eliminate pollution, and lift the massive pressure we currently put on natural habitats.

Your takeback scheme is brilliant! Can you explain how the scheme works, and why was it important for you to introduce it?

Our takeback scheme is our promise that our products will never become waste at the end of their life. When a customer is finally finished with a product, they can return it directly to us. We recover the materials and recycle them right back into new items, keeping valuable resources in continuous circulation. Introducing this scheme was incredibly important to us because it directly supports our core values. True sustainability isn't just about selling an eco-friendly product and walking away; it’s about taking responsibility for its entire lifecycle. By closing the loop ourselves, we ensure we are practicing exactly what we preach—proving that a completely waste-free, circular economy isn't just an ideal, but a practical reality.

Do you have any exciting plans for the future of Circular&Co. that you could share with us?

We are always on the lookout for new, innovative ways to tackle the single-use crisis. Right now, our in-house design team is working on two brand-new products specifically engineered to eliminate everyday waste. We can't say too much just yet—so watch this space!
