The number of fabric conditioner sheets you'll need can vary based on a few factors, including the size of your laundry load, the level of softness you desire, and the hardness of your water. Here’s a quick guide to help you out:

Soft Water

Regular/Large Loads: For a standard washing machine with a regular to large load, just half a fabric conditioner sheet should do the job.

Very Large or Heavily Soiled Loads: If you’re dealing with a much larger load, consider using a whole sheet. This ensures that the increased volume of water and laundry receives an even distribution of softness, leaving no garment neglected. For clothes that need a little extra love—like those that have been through a muddy adventure or a messy cooking session—using an extra sheet can help achieve that luxurious softness you crave.

Hard Water

A good rule of thumb with any fabric conditioner in hard water areas is to use a bit more. We recommend adding an extra half sheet for any load size to ensure optimal softness, but you’ll quickly find the right amount after just a couple of washes. On delicates we do recommend you perform a patch test before your first wash, just to be safe!

Sodium Coco Sulphate – Coconut-based cleanser aiding fabric freshness; biodegradable and gentle on fabrics and the planet.

Aqua (Water) – Natural solvent and carrier, enabling gentle, even distribution of softening and fragrance ingredients.

PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate – Coconut-derived conditioner that helps soften fabrics naturally without harsh synthetic additives.

AOS (Alpha-Olefinsulfonate) – Readily biodegradable surfactant from natural sources, helps remove residues for cleaner, softer clothes.

Polyvinyl Alcohol – Plant-derived biodegradable film former, helps evenly disperse softening agents onto fabrics for lasting softness.

Glycerol – Plant-based humectant, retains fabric moisture for a softer feel, biodegradable and safe for the environment.

Quaternium-53 – Fabric-softening agent reducing static cling, works effectively in low doses, and breaks down safely after use.

Perfume Oil – Plant-derived fragrance components provide long-lasting freshness without synthetic, harmful air-polluting chemicals.

We have an incredibly flexible subscription service which you can cancel at anytime. You will receive access to an online account where you can change; the frequency of deliveries, number of sheets in your pack, pause a delivery if you have too many left, or simply cancel with the click of a button. You can also email Leanne on hello@thegreencompany.online who can make all those same changes for you.  

You don't have to subscribe though! You can always just make a one time purchase whenever you need!

We ship via Royal Mail, using a tracked or delivery confirmation service for your peace of mind.

Once dispatched, delivery is usually within 2 business days for UK orders. Remote areas may take slightly longer.
