A big hello from Leanne and Andrew at The Green Co. HQ in sunny Dundee! What a run of weather we’ve had. They do say it’s Scotland’s sunniest city for a reason! We hope you’ve been soaking up the sunshine just as much as we have, wherever you are. 😊☀️
It’s been another fun month for the team. The sunshine’s brought plenty of washing (anyone else racing to get clothes out on the line?) and we’ve been full steam ahead behind the scenes. From packing days and exciting deliveries to photoshoot edits, new product prep, and a feel-good collab with the wonderful FINDRA Clothing. There’s a lot to be excited about!
So, shall we get started? We hope you enjoy edition #7 of The Green Co-nversation. 😀💚

Conversation with FINDRA Clothing
Hi Alex! It's so great to chat with you. 😀
Can you tell us a bit about FINDRA and what inspired you to create the brand?
Hello! FINDRA was born out of a desire to combine my love of the outdoors with my background in design. As a keen mountain biker and someone who’s always found solace and inspiration in nature, I realised there was a gap in the market for well-designed, functional clothing for women that didn’t compromise on style or sustainability.
I wanted to create clothing that felt good to wear, looked good, and performed across a range of activities — pieces that could take you from a bike ride in the hills to a coffee with friends. That was the spark behind FINDRA: a brand built around the idea of connection — to ourselves, to others, and to the natural world.
Sustainability is at the heart of FINDRA. Can you share some of the key ways you ensure your clothing is kind to the planet?
Right from the start, I wanted to create clothing that considered its environmental impact at every stage. We use natural, biodegradable fibres like merino wool and ethically sourced lambswool, which are not only better for the planet but also offer amazing performance benefits.
Our products are made in small batches, often here in the UK, to reduce waste and support local manufacturing. We design with longevity in mind — both in terms of style and durability — so that our customers buy less, but better. Every decision we make is guided by a desire to tread more lightly on the Earth.
FINDRA is built to last and to love. How do you approach creating timeless pieces rather than following fast fashion trends?
I come from a background in fashion and textiles, so I understand the pressure of trends — but I also know how fleeting they are. At FINDRA, we focus on creating pieces that are beautifully made, functional, and versatile — items you’ll reach for season after season. We’re inspired by the colours and textures of the natural world, which never go out of style. And we listen closely to our customers, making sure our clothing fits real lives and real bodies. It’s about creating a wardrobe that works for you, not the other way around.
From wild walks to weekend bike rides, FINDRA champions the simple joy of getting outside. What’s your favourite way to recharge in nature?
I find so much peace and perspective from being outside — it’s where I feel most grounded. For me, a bike ride through the Scottish Borders, where I live, is the ultimate way to switch off and reconnect. I also love a bracing walk in the hills with my dog — just being in the fresh air, feeling the elements on your skin, noticing the seasons change — it’s incredibly restorative. That’s a big part of what FINDRA is all about: encouraging people to find those moments of joy and calm in the outdoors, no matter how small.
Before you go, are there any exciting new launches, adventures, or projects on the horizon for FINDRA that you can share? 😀
Absolutely! We’re always looking for new ways to evolve and grow while staying true to our values. We’ve got some exciting new products coming soon — additions to our Merino-Lite range that are perfect for the warmer months and will become summer essentials for those who love to get outdoors.
There are also some products arriving for Autumn/Winter which will be a bit different. Most importantly, we’re continuing to build a community of like-minded people who share a love of nature, adventure, and thoughtful design. There’s lots to look forward to.
Conversation with Our Crew
"We spent a brilliant day down at Catterick Garrison this month, volunteering at our fourth "Move You In" event, led by the fantastic team at
e50K.
Alongside volunteers from other local businesses, we helped pack over 2,000 welcome boxes for new recruits settling into army accommodation. Each box included everyday essentials from loo roll, tea and coffee, to crayons, a newspaper written by army children, and a little Green Co. touch: Our
Laundry Detergent GreenSheets™ and a
Cleaning Spray GreenTab™. It's a simple way to help army families feel supported from day one. We're always proud to play a small part!"
Product of the month
This month we're highlighting our
Eco Dishwasher GreenTabs™. With BBQ season upon us, we wanted to make doing the dishes a little bit easier, the eco friendly way.
Eco Dishwasher GreenTabs™ are powerful, all in one eco dishwasher tablets made from natural, non toxic plant and mineral-based ingredients. They cut through grease, remove stains, and leave dishes spotless, without the need for extra salt, rinse aid or toxic chemicals.
And that's a wrap on this month's edition of The Green Co-nversation. Whether you've just discovered FINDRA, invited a friend to The Green Co-mmunity, or feel inspired to spend more time outdoors, we're so happy to have you as part of our journey to make Life A Little Bit Better 🙂
